Hi!

I 'm Darby, the founder of Art in the Parks.

Art in the Parks grew from my passion for both the outdoors and the arts. I grew up in the sunny state of Florida, where I graduated from the University of Florida with my Bachelors in Fine Arts, my specialization was printmaking. After graduating, my art practice took a back seat as I worked in the outdoor industry guiding everything from sea kayaking to dog sledding. Now I can't wait to share my love of the outdoors with others in a new way.

There is nothing more inspiring to me than being out in beautiful natural places, and taking a moment to slow down and savor every second by drawing, painting and creating.
